1. What kind of art do you create?
I specialize in expressive, character-driven portraits — from pets and people to stylized compositions that capture personality and emotion. My main mediums are oil painting, mixed media, markers, and digital illustration.
2. How does the commission process work?
It starts with a chat about your idea and photos of your subject. I’ll share a concept sketch for approval (with up to two revisions), then begin painting. You’ll receive progress updates, and once complete, the artwork is either delivered personally or shipped securely.
3. How long does a commissioned piece take?
Typically 3–5 weeks, depending on the size, drying time (especially for oils), and complexity.
4. How do payments work?
Commissions are split into two payments — a 50% deposit to start (non-refundable once painting begins) and the remaining 50% upon delivery.
5. Do I get updates during the process?
Yes! I love sharing the journey — you’ll receive photos and insights as your artwork comes to life.
6. What happens if I want changes?
I offer up to two revisions during the sketch phase to ensure your satisfaction before painting begins.
7. Who owns the copyright to the artwork?
You’ll receive the original painting and a Certificate of Authenticity, but I retain copyright. This means I may feature the piece in my portfolio or social media (with your consent).
8. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I can ship worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and added to the final payment.
9. What if I want a digital artwork instead?
Digital portraits are available too — they’re hand-drawn using my iPad or PC and delivered as high-resolution files, ready for printing.
10. How do I take care of my painting?
Each artwork comes with care instructions to help preserve it. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity to keep your piece vibrant for years to come.
